Safety 1st Complete Air 65 Convertible Car Seat Review

I am a mom who is very cautious about my children and car safety! This can be a touch topic for some people.  I feel strongly about having the most protection possible for my children. I believe in the harness and head support. I try to keep up on all the latest in travel safety so that I know my children are as safe as I can get them in the car.

Recently I came across the Safety st Complete Air 65 Convertible Car Seat and was so impressed. If you haven’t researched Safety 1st products before check them out! First check out the Safety 1st Website. They have a video on how their car seats are thoroughly tested using their crash sleds. It is amazing!

Sounds amazing right? I thought so and I had to try it! I have been very concerned with the safety of the car seat that my son has been in. It seems like it does not fit him properly. So I was thrilled to have the opportunity  to review this Safety 1st Convertible Car Seat.

Win it arrived I quickly took it out to give it the “Mom Inspection”. I noticed the Air Protect Side Impact feature printed right on the box and had to check that out first. This has not been on any of our previous car seats. Air Protect is a new innovative safety feature that uses air technology to protect your child’s head! It reduces the impact of a crash! I LOVE THIS! And let me also mention that the Air Protect head rest is so comfortable. It really feels like a pillow. The sides are all just as soft.

My son was pretty excited to see the car seat too. My son, who never sits down, made himself very comfortable in the car seat. :) I knew that it had his approval!

After I checked it out and saw what all it could do and how it worked I moved to the car. Time to install it. It is very easy and FAST to install the car seat! It has simple latch that attaches behind the seat and then the shoulder strap goes under and across in the specified spot. SIMPLE! Then we had “little man” sit in the seat so we could adjust it for him. There are several ways to adjust it prefect for your child. The headrest adjusts up and down. The shoulder straps also adjust for your baby’s height. It only took us a few minutes and he was set.

He was thrilled about his new car seat. You would think a toddler would not car but he did! He looked like he was riding is pure comfort! This is the ULTIMATE car seat for any child.

This would work perfect for an infant coming home from the hospital, as it is a rear facing car seat as well. And when you child is ready (age and/or weight) You can turn it around and set it up. This is a quality seat that will last for years. We have only used it for a week but I can tell that it is made to last!

Oh and I also need to add that the seat pad can easily be taken off and washed. This is a must for moms like me! So you can let your child use the cup holder that is included. It snaps right on. And if juice is spilled just toss it in the wash. Safety st thought of everything!

If you are expecting or have an infant already I would like to suggest the Safety 1st onBoard 35 infant car seat .
