About Trollbeads: Trollbeads started life as ‘Troldekugler’ in 1976 in a small jeweler’s store in Copenhagen, Denmark.The first quirky little beads were designed by silversmith Søren Nielsen and gradually other family members began contributing their own designs. Until the year 2000 every design came from a family member. As the popularity of Troldekugler grew and the beads started to travel outside the Scandinavian countries, they took on the name they are known by today: Trollbeads. Today Trollbeads/Troldekugler can be found in more than 50 countries. Søren Nielsen continues to design new beads and the ‘family’ has grown to include 50 internationally recognized designers and over 600 beads – each with a unique design and story. The company behind Trollbeads is Lise Aagaard Copenhagen. The mission is to create beautiful, imaginative jewelry and also to involve and touch people all over the world. Each piece in the Trollbeads collection has its own little history, taking its inspiration from mythology, astrology, fairy tales, fauna, flora, cultural diversity, and last but certainly not least, in the familiar things of everyday living. Trollbeads products include beads on bracelets, necklaces, earrings, rings and accessories. What is most distinctive about Trollbeads, apart from the original design, is the use and combination of fascinating materials. The beads are made from the highest quality raw materials including sterling silver, 18 carat gold, Italian glass, natural pearls and precious stones.

The latest addition to Trollbeads is the Kimono Kit created by Japanese designer Nozomi Kaji. . Kimono 2011 collection launched March 4, 2011. This delicate collection of six beads in matte colors is not only designed by a Japanese designer, it is also made from Japanese glass, and is inspired by the colors and patterns of a Japanese silk kimono. The structure of the Japanese raw glass introduces a new look which is vastly different from the glass beads in the existing Trollbeads collection.

My Opinion: I was thrilled to have an opportunity to review Trollbeads. I am new to Trollbeads and was very impressed by the selection of beads they offer. The possibilities are endless with Trollbeads. You can be your own designer!

It came beautifully packaged in a nice box. The beads are so unique and beautiful! I feel amazing wearing the Trollbeads! I know that no one else has a bracelet just like mine. Each and every bead is unique in its own way. No two are the same! The Kimono collection is  classy and has soft colors. For me, the colors go with everything! This bracelet is GREAT for my wardrobe! I love that this bracelet can be worn with casual attire or for a fancy night out!

I received many compliments on my Trollbeads Bracelet! I told everyone this is what you need to get your mom for Mother’s Day. Why? Because it is exactly what your mom wants but doesn’t know it yet.
