Now that I am a stay at home mom I am always searching for new and creative ways to help my kids learn at home. I do not encourage very much tv time. But there are my exceptions. When I find dvds that are educational or character building I get very excited and so do my kids. For them this means they get to watch tv. So we were all thrilled when I discovered Rock N’ Learn!
Rock ‘N Learn began as an idea that would help children learn by putting educational material to music with a current sound — the kind of music that kids enjoy and find motivating. Now with over 50 products, we have sold millions of audio/book and video programs to teachers and parents throughout the United States, Canada, and other countries. Rock ‘N Learn programs help students learn math, phonics, reading, early childhood, social studies, Spanish, test-taking strategies, writing, and science. Our DVDs incorporate music with exciting, colorful imagery.
I could not order fast enough! I visited Rock N’ Learn and was very impressed with the selection. They offer dvds for ages 2 and up. No matter what your child’s education, skill or emotional level there is something for him or her. It is easy to shop by age or subject.
We have been learning about animals the last couple months. With my 2 and 5 year old there are different levels of learning going on. We are discussing sounds, characters, and what is unique about the different animals. So when I saw “Dancing with the Animals” I was thrilled!
In this action-packed DVD video, amazing and adorable animals inspire children to learn creative movement, motor skills, listening, and following directions. Delightful songs and exciting live footage of more than 60 creatures captivate children as they learn fun facts about animals-where they live, what sounds they make, how to care for pets, and so much more. For ages 3 & up. Approx. 45 minutes.
I LOVE that as a parent you can prepare and make the most of the dvd with the tools on the website. For this DVD you can find words to songs. I love to be involved in the learning of my kids so I loved this!
We LOVE Dancing with the Animals. What I loved the most was that it was great for my toddler as well as my preschooler. My toddler was completely fascinated by the animals. He stood in awe watching the animals and the music. My 5 year old loved the interactive parts. There are cute dances and songs that she can participate in. Also she enjoyed shouting out what the animals were before the dvd. Each of the songs is so catchy that you can’t help but sing along! (Yes I was singing along too)
