Earlier this week I came across an exercise ball at Walmart. I do not have good balance! Never have! I always thought that is what those were for. But after I read the information I actually thought this might be good for me. It is suppose to help strengthen your core and lower body as well as help with coordination. After 2 pregnancies and the 2 c sections my core is definitely not strong like it used to be! So why not?
My exercise ball came with an easy-to-follow workout chart that showed exercises for the arms, torso, abdominals, obliques, buttocks, and legs. All of my problem areas! It even came with a pump to get me started! So I quickly put it to work.
Wow! I was not prepared for the burn. Doing the exercises on the ball made my stomach burn. I could feel the muscles working! Clearly my muscles have not been used in years! But I liked the burn! It was a GREAT sign! In fact, several hours after I had done the exercises I decided to try to sit on the ball to watch tv. I could feel my legs and core working again!
I think adding this in every day would definitely help! Adding strength to my core and legs will help with my weight loss! The more muscle I build the more fat I will burn! So I am excited to find a new toy!
