Welcome to the Back To School Giveaway Event! Check out all of the Bargain Network Back to School Giveaways . Living on Love and Cents is proud to feature Rock N Learn!

Now that I am a stay at home mom I am always searching for new and creative ways to help my kids learn at home. I do not encourage very much tv time. But there are my exceptions. When I find dvds that are educational or character building I get very excited and so do my kids. For them this means they get to watch tv. So we were all thrilled when I discovered Rock N’ Learn a few months ago!

Rock ‘N Learn began as an idea that would help children learn by putting educational material to music with a current sound — the kind of music that kids enjoy and find motivating. Now with over 50 products, we have sold millions of audio/book and video programs to teachers and parents throughout the United States, Canada, and other countries. Rock ‘N Learn programs help students learn math, phonics, reading, early childhood, social studies, Spanish, test-taking strategies, writing, and science. Our DVDs incorporate music with exciting, colorful imagery.

At Rock N’ Learn they offer dvds for ages 2 and up. No matter what your child’s education, skill or emotional level there is something for him or her. It is easy to shop by age or subject. Both of my children love Rock N Learn DVDs. They are fun and educational!

With school quickly approaching it is a HUGE topic at our house. My daughter starts Kindergarten this year! As you can imagine she talks about it all time. She i full of questions and concerns about what will happen. So when I saw Getting Ready for Kindergarten I had to get it! When it arrived I can not tell you how excited my daughter was. She jumped up and down and ran to pop it in. It did not disapoint! She sat with her full attention on the tv for the entire 45 minutes!

Getting Ready for Kindergarten covers these skills: buttoning • zipping • colors • counting • tying shoes with “bunny ear method” • following directions • sequencing • sorting • neatness and organizing • asking permission • walking in a line • size comparisons • drawing a person • sharing • listening comprehension • letter recognition • number recognition • holding a pencil • printing letters and numbers • shapes • patterns • left/right directions

It covers so many important personal skills and well as academic skills! So many times we forget about all the things that kids may be thinking about or may want to know. This dvd is so awesome that when it was over my daughter wanted to make her bed like the boy in the dvd! It also encouraged her to keep trying to tie her shoes. But on the academic end she was excited to see she already knew many of those topics like numbers and the alphabet. As a mom I appreciated the topics of asking permission and following directions. After being home with mom for so long I worry that she will have trouble with that. But this is a great tool to help talking about it and practicing!

Buy It Now: If you have kids or know someone who does then you must check out Rock N’ Learn! These dvds are also a great tool for teachers to help in the classroom! The DVDs are all affordable. Getting Ready for Kindergarten is 19.99. There is a huge selection to choose from. AND they have offered a discount code for LOL&C readers! Use promo code JQ7711 for 25% off at RockNLearn.com.
