Share & Scare: Old London & Nonni’s Biscotti Snacks (Review & Giveaway) 4 Winners

Posted on Sep 26 2011 - 8:00am by Heather Brummett

Have you ever noticed that many times the sides make the snacks? For example, you sit down for a  cup of coffee. What is better than that? How about a cup of coffee with a biscotti on the side? YES! Let me tell you that makes the coffee even sweeter! My favorite evening snack is a cup of coffee with a Caramel Milk Chocolate Nonni’s Biscotti!

Nonni’s Biscotti is the most popular selling gourmet dunking cookies on the market, and are the only national brand sold coast to coast. They are dedicated to bringing the best and most convenient Biscotti to everyone everywhere.

Recently Nonni’s introduced  “Biscotti Bites,” a mini-version of its most scrumptious treat.   These are great on the go snacks or a perfectly sized side for your coffee! There are approximately 24 serving per package and prices are $3.49-$3.99. These are a very affordable sweet treat for moms! Treat yourself each day for a moment of me time when you add this to your coffee, wine or other drink of choice.

Another fabulous side to spruce up your meal or snacks are  the great crunchy crackers and toast by  Old London.

It was 1897 when, concerned about her stylish figure, the talented opera singer Miss Nellie Melba sent the famed Parisian chef Auguste Escoffier back to the kitchen. Her complaint was that her bread was much too thick. Escoffier returned to Ms. Melba’s table with a thinly sliced piece of toasted bread, and promptly named it Melba toast in her honor. Nellie Melba’s name would go on forever, just like she always said it would.

They have many options including: Melba Snacks, Melba Toast, JJFlats Flatbreads and Bagel Chips.  Each of these have many flavors to make you smile! My personal favorites are the Spicy 3 Pepper and the Cheddar Bagel Chips.  It is a healthy, crunchy, tasty alternative to potato chips. I have started serving this for my kids after school snacks and for my little snack while I am working. I love to pair these with salsa or guacamole.

The Old London site has make yummy recipes that you can try.Fiesta Salsa ,Pizza Pomodoro and Monterey Shrimp look amazing! These are great ideas for entertaining on a budget. The Old London Snacks are very affordable ranging $2- $3 online. I have found these at my local store on sale as low as $.75! I stock up on Old London crackers and toast for times when I have unexpected guests or just need a little healthy snack. These are PERFECT!

GIVEAWAY:
