$25 Paypal gift card giveaway! Help Spread the word to make a change!

Today I posted how we are making the switch to healthier foods. We joined Jennie-O and Champion For Kids in the Make the Switch Challenge and May SIMPLE Service Project. We decided to eliminate juice packs, chips and McDonald’s breakfasts in order to save the money to help others. We also have started the switch with Jennie O Turkey over red ground meat.

What item or items would you like to have your family eat less of: I would like to see my family eat less at fast food places.

Who would you like to help with money saved? (organization, family, etc) I would like to be able to donate more to our local mission and also to our food pantry at church.

  3. Leah Shumack says

I would love it if we eat out less! So far it’s mcdonalds on our busy night and pizza on Friday (every other week) so we’re doing better!

Who would you like to help with money saved?
would like to be able to help with money but we barely get our bills paid

  5. Heather says

I’d like to give the money to my friend who has heart to provide free diapers to military families.

We need to eat less candy/cookies. Most of our diet is actually very healthy, but our weakness for sweets…*sigh*

  7. Mary Beth Elderton says

Putting away the sweets for us would allow us to save enough money to contribute more regularly to our local food bank.

  8. Alex Fisher says

I’d love to eliminate processed foods, but it can get hard being mom to a toddler and being pregnant…sometimes the boxed foods are a little easier and quicker, but we’re trying to avoid them!

  9. Alex Fisher says

Not to sound selfish, but we’d probably help ourselves with money saved. My husband is a stupid so we have to save to pay off student debt.
Once we’re out of debt and have spare saved money, we donate to our church to help out others who are in need

I would love to be able to get ahead financially. It just seems to be one thing after another. The car, the toilet, the water/sewage leak under our house.

sweets for us would be an issue to get rid of. i love them way too much and so do my children
