I have been sharing my home improvement journey with you this year. Another important thing for me were the finishing touches. Have you ever noticed the things we spend hours thinking about are often times the last thing to get noticed? The things that get noticed are the finishing touches like lighting and wall art!

The new colors in my house make my old gold light fixtures look even worse. It was definitely time to get a lighting update! The thing with me is that I light classic and black but also love sparkle! Bling is my thing. I discovered EuroStyleLighting.com through the suggestion of a colleague. It was exactly what I was looking for: modern and classic. I loved this site so much that it took me a very long time to decide which light was perfect for our kitchen. I had this spot over the sink that needed a serious touch of beauty. After the help of a friend I choose the Possini Euro Black Fabric Drum and Crystal Ceiling Light. It was the perfect balance for what I wanted! It was perfectly unique!

When it arrived it was packaged very securely in the box. The beautiful sparkly crystal drops were wrapped snuggly in in packing material, tapped up and then boxed. Not a single strand was broken. YEAH! The sheer black fabric shade was also wrapped in plastic and arrived in perfect condition. After checking over the entire light I realized it was far to amazing to go in the space above the sink as planned. It deserved a spotlight place! That is when I decided it was going in the dining room!

My wonderful husband was ready and willing to help me install the light. This really was a two person job. We attached it strand by hand, added the lights, then I held it up while he connected the wires. With the 2 of us it took very little time.

I turned it on to admire it and was BLOWN AWAY! The crystal drops shimmered off the wall and made a water like appearance. I was not sure how much light it would give off with the small bulbs but it was brilliant! They light shown off each wall and it magnified off of each crystal drop. I called the whole family in to see it! My 6 and 3 year old both agreed the new light rocked! Our dining room was now a peaceful oasis with a touch of glam!
