Mission Master Bathroom Part 2: Organize on a Budget & The Container Store Gift Card Giveaway

I am so excited to show you how I was able to organize the bathroom on a budget and you can too. I did each of the organization tips that I mentioned in Mission Master Bathroom Organization Part 1. I used my bathroom inspiration and tips from Apartment Guide to help me. It was so nice having direction. Otherwise it would have been very overwhelming.

When we left off I had taken everything out, cleaned it completely and sifted through what I wanted to keep. I was excited and shocked to see how much I was able to dispose of! I found creative ways to organize the items I did keep by using things around the house and a few dollar store items. This organization project cost me less than $10! Here are some highlights of my newly organized bathroom.

Use Dollar Store glass vases and containers for small items:

Small items like q-tips, make up brushes and oral care products can be stored nicely in vases or decorative glass containers. These all came from the Dollar Store. They add beauty and they keep things tidy.

Use baskets for storage and beauty:

I found both of these baskets in other areas of the house. They add beauty, texture and storage. I am using them to store towels, books, wash clothes, etc.

Use an old egg carton as an organizer:

Don’t throw away that egg carton! Take the top off and use each piece as a drawer organizer. The bottom section is perfect for small items! Keep them in their place and save time!

Use a shoe or laundry storage as additional space savers:

I was not using either of these storage items in the closet. They are perfect for extra toiletries, hand towels, toilet paper, etc. It keeps things off  the floor and looks tidy.

It is amazing what cleaning up and organizing a space can affect the way you feel! I feel so peaceful in my bathroom now. I no longer feel anxiety about the space and a desire to leave as soon as possible. It is now a cozy retreat where I can relax and refresh.

my favorite tip is using the baskets for storage, we have a small counter top and it is cluttered with the teen’s and tween’s hair product and makeup. If I add the baskets to the shelves it will clear up the clutter and make it more organized and I it will make finding their items a little easier.

My favorite tip was using the baskets, I do that as well for almost each room in my home to house items neatly & pretty. Loved this post, what lady doesn’t want to have beautifully displayed items that also reduced clutter. Hope to see more of this type post. thanks
