Easy All Natural Homemade Guacamole


Are you craving a delicious crunchy and spicy snack? I have been craving something crunchy but am trying to stick to my healthy weight loss diet. I ended up making this easy all natural guacamole. I paired it with Melba Toast Crackers and Blueberry Iced Tea. It was the perfect healthy snack that helped my craving for a snack.

There are so many guacamole recipes out there but none suited my taste. Here is my easy all natural homemade guacamole recipe. ENJOY!20130522-120544.jpg

  • 1 small whole avacado
  • 1/2 cup cilantro
  • 1 full and ripe tomato
  • 1/4 white onion
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper
  • 3/4 ripe jalepeno (use more or less depending on spice preference)

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or lime juice
  • Optional: A dash of table salt substitute
  • Combine all ingredients.

    I used my hand operated food processor. This gave me more control on the consistency. You could also use a chopper or shop setting on a blender.

    Blend until you reach your desired consistency. I like chunky.

    Pair with chips or crackers. I choose Melba Toast Crackers because they are healthier and work well with my healthy eating plan.
