This week I was searching for ways to entertain my son without having to get out of the house. The weather has been very nasty. I turned to the kitchen for ideas. That is where I came up with this really fun, tasty, safe and cheap game for kids. Here is how you can do it too! Pudding and Cereal Tic Tac Toe:Supplies:Pudding (We had chocolate but any will work) Cereal for the x and o. January is the month where so many of us are cleaning out, organizing and getting ready for the year ahead. After we get our rooms looking clean, don’t we want them to smell nice too? Now, I know that there are a lot of very inexpensive air fresheners out there that work really well, but why not try to deodorize your home naturally? I bet you have almost all (if not all) of the items you’ll need and it takes about a minute to make. Cinnamon rolls are a Christmas morning staple at my house. The best part? With a little prep work the night before, you can have hot fresh cinnamon rolls and NOT get up at 4:00 am to get them! She has a template on her site and you’ll just cut the pieces out.Sew all the little embellishments on the front piece. Now sew most of the way...

As every busy mom knows decorating for holiday events can be stressful. At my house I have little time to go shopping for items to create extravagant centerpieces. The budget is far to small to go and buy a beautiful rustic centerpiece like the ones at Pottery Barn. So what is a mom to do? Create one using what you have! I took my little man out on a nature walk. We love doing nature crafts so he has learned to spot the perfect nature items for crafting. We collected large branches and pine cones. After getting back home I cleaned...

Making snow flakes from coffee filters I have never come across a kid that doesn’t like to cut out snowflakes. Folding the paper just right can be such a pain in the rear though! If they are not the best at lining up their edges, the kids can be really disappointed when their snowflake doesn’t come out right. The easy way to combat that is by using coffee filters instead of regular paper. It’s already round, it’s easy to fold and the kiddies can easily cut through it with safety scissors.  My girls...
