Mission Accomplished! YEAH! It is finally true! My son is potty trained. This has been a crazy experience for me. My daughter was so easy to train and that is what I was expecting with him but I was wrong! I am not an expert but I am a mom who made a lot of mistakes! I learned so much during this! I decided surely there are other moms like me out there thinking it will never happen! So here is what I learned while potty training a boy.  You teach twice: once sitting and once standing! So decide from the beginning how you want to do...

This is a very personal and real topic  that I am sharing with you. I was always a pretty confident girl growing up. Things started to change when I went to college and started gaining weight. In my early twenties I started taking medicines for my thyroid and depression. I have cronic depression and as a result I have been on medicines ever since then. As I get older and hormones and thyroid levels fluxuate I have to change medicines. Now I can not say 100% that it is the medicine causing it or the fact that I feel better and so I eat...

But as people started to point things out and I started to really watch him I realized we might have a problem. Recently some of my sons behaviors have turned from “that is just how he is” to more of “an obsession’. I did a lot of...

I want to know what do you think? I am definitely an online shopper! I was not always an online shopper. I think it all changed when I had kids. Suddenly getting out to shop was much harder! Today the idea of loading up the kids in the hot car and visiting several stores sounds terrible. I used to get so much joy out of shopping in the stores but not now. Now I dread it! I have an addiction to comparison shopping and that is just not an easy task with the kids. So, that is why I am an online shopper now. I try to buy all I can online!...

First I have to say thank you so much for the overwhelming support and prayers for my niece, Addison. I have been so touched! I wanted to update you all on Addison’s progress. As I posted yesterday, Addison was born at 35 weeks and is in the NICU. The picture above is her yesterday morning. Last night was really rough. The Doctors noticed she was not doing as well as she had been and after tests they discovered a hole in her lung. They did an emergency procedure on her to insert a tube. The procedure was successful and she did great....
